1996 Mercruiser A1 Gen2 4.3 turns left on its own

Greetings from Las Vegas. I replaced my steering cable on my Mariah 180 BR and now the boat turns to the left on its own. The wheel turns much easier now but this new problem is annoying. Fluid is good but it wont stay centered?

Does it turn left only under power, or when idling? If only under power, adjust the anode fin above and behind the prop to be more centered.

Hi Chris. It does it under power my outdrive does not have a fin on the anode. It never did this until i changed the cable is there some type of adjustment on the ram assembly?

After reading the hard steering thread below mine i may have not lined up the flat part of the steering tube when installing the cable. I hope this is all that is wrong.
