1996 Mercury 75 hp trim assembly 3 wire

I have a non working 3 wire trim assembly for 75 hp not working. Motor runs but hydraulic cylinder not extending. Filled with fluid. I see there are 2 wire with a short ground on eBay, will this work on a 96 motor?

If the motor is running, replacing it with another motor makes no sense.

There may be a coupler on the motor armature. You might check that.

Checked coupler and is installed correctly. My question was can a newer 1998 or so trim assembly work on a 1996 75 elpto.

I don't know. Faztbullet probably does. Ping him. I would assume that your bypass screw is screwed in on the starboard side of your PTT assy.
