1996 mercury force 75 hp lower unit gear shifter how does it work ?

1996 mercury force 75 hp lower unit gear shifter how does it work ? i took apart the lower unit and replaced all seals and some bearings but now I am trying to put back together and i can not figure how the shifter rod lower connects to the proptshaft end i cant seem to upload pics.

You need to open the 2 diagrams for the lower unit.
One covers the prop shaft and one the drive shaft.
The parts are on both pages.
​The lower shift rod has a part " arm assy"#18
​The prop shaft has a "shift yoke"#7
​These need to meet when you re-assemble the propshaft into the housing.
It can be a little tricky but after 10-20 tries you'll get it!!
​Or you might get lucky and it works on the first try!!

thanks jerryjerry05 the number 7 is missing so that why it didnt makes any sense on how they connect
