Hi Everyone,
When I drove home from work yesterday, I used my air conditioning. It's the first time I used the a/c since I got the van. Anyways, this morning I went to start my van and the battery was completely dead. When I put a new battery in the van I noticed that my running lights turned on. Thinking that maybe I left my lights on the night before, I checked and...nope...they are off.
So I drive to work and when I shut off the van, the running lights are still on. Not wanting to have to jump start my van this afternoon, I disconnected the battery terminals.
So I'm wondering if the a/c I used yesterday has anything to do with the battery draining and the running lights staying on?? I know it sounds weird, but weirder things have happened to me.
Any ideas or tips where to start diagnosing the problem.
Thanks for any help.

Oh, btw...I'm not a new user here...I tried to get my password emailed to me (at least 10 times last week and twice today) and since it did not get sent to my email, I just created a new account....much easier this way.

To me it sounds like you head light switch has a fault. It may also be your brake light switch sticking on but your front park lights should not be on just your rear's.

So BC who is the man behind the mask?
