First post here. I recently purchased a 1996 Sunbird Spirit 170 with a 90 hp Johnson outboard. Boat runs great but a couple things need attention.

At the moment the only functioning gauge is trim. Warning lights do not come on when switching the power on and tachometer is dead. Bilge does not turn on and horn switch is not working either. I was looking at the wiring and noticed a couple wires disconnected behind the dash.

There’s a black wire coming from the ignition and orange wire that changes into brown, see pics. Fuse and switch in the pic are for bilge. Both only have 2 wires in them and I assume these should connect to those. Was not able to find anything with search, any help would be much appreciated!

Edit: forgot to mention light nav/anchor lights work fine. Fuel gauge also has power and seems to be a sender problem since it drops down to empty when ignition is turned on.

Clarification to my previous post: orange wire comes from bilge switch and changes into brown at connector that is not connected to anything at the moment.
