1997 115 hp 2 stroke alarm

My 1997 115 2 stroke( pre-mix- not oil injected) starts and idles great. It gets on plane and runs great for about 30 seconds and then alarm sounds. Then after about 5 seconds, it starts running rough. I bring it back to idle. In about minute, I again take off and all is well for 30 seconds and repeats. I noticed the fuel separator/filter under cowling gets below level of intake so thinking fuel. Is there a low fuel alarm on this engine? Then thinking it really is a heat problem or one of the head temp sensors bad. Any way to simply verify? If it is getting hot, does it send signal to reduce rpm on engine to keep from doing damage? I replaced water pump and pumping great out the tattle tale and the water from the prop exhaust is warm so must be getting water to the engine when I run on the drive. Thanks for any insight..

Jamaica i got 95 yam 130 more or less the same engine as you except i dont run mixed gas. Im having the exact same problem as you, please let me know if you get an answer or figure out the problem.
