your question depends on how much of your old motor your going to use... a complete drop on will go from early 90's to 2005.. short block.. you have some ignition changes& there may be mounting issues.. i'd say 96& newer for cdm ignition... rebuild your old One it's going to be cheaper... i do them all the time... about the only thing that can't be fixed is a hole in the block.. & even that can be repaired,, just cost more $$$$$$ If the crank is ok... rebuild it... but have someone with a good rep do it.. so you'll be happy with the results...
