Back the manual release valve out no more than two turns and raise the mtr to full tilt. There is a cap on the reservoir on the starboard side, fill it and see what happens. If it starts working cycle it up and down 5 times and recheck oil level.

to use the release screw DO NOT take c-lip out. just turn the screw.
Once you have turned the screw you can just lift the leg from the very bottom of the skeg, its going to be heavy so be prepared with prop to keep it up.
the tilt reservoir cap might make a hiss when you take it off, that's normal, just fill it right up as much as possible, then put the cap back on tight.
let the leg down gently and try the trim, if it works get it up as high as possible and be very careful as there is air in the system and this could come down on its own trapping fingers !!!!!!!
once its up enough then prop it again and take cap of and fill again with oil then cap on again.
this needs to be repeated about 5 times tio be sure and make sure the engine goes full tilt up and down every time you check the oil.

yes the trim system can be hot wired.
