Hello,
First of all, let me explain my situation. I bought a 98 Larson ski boat a few years ago, ran it for the summer, and then failed to properly winterize it that fall. Come spring I had water in my oil and what I gathered was a cracked block. I removed the engine with the help of a mechanic buddy, set it on a pallet and its been collecting dust while I tried to find the money and know-how to repair it.
Now here I am, three years later with a new v6 long block ordered out of New Jersey. I roped in a buddy who went to school for rec. engines and we assembled the engine. We are now trying to put on all of the external components. We are having trouble identifying which parts get studs and which get bolts, where all the wiring harness' are supposed to hang and making sure all of the electrical wires go to the right places.
I have a repair manual with a wiring diagram we are trying to follow, but am having trouble finding a blown-up view of the engine and parts, showing which parts go where and the proper bolts or studs to use.
I would appreciate any help given
thank you
Cory
