1997 Celebrity Bombardier 180BR Alpha One outdrive

Hi all,

My speedometer quit working this weekend anyone got any ideas for me.

Also my tach seems to be fluxuating

Any help would be great

I just had some problems like that after cleaning all the connections

I unpluged the cannon plug (the big round one) between the motor and the boat and it must have not been compleaty in as it solved a bunch of guage problems that had come up this year

Does anyone else have any ideas, there is a small v-notch in the leading edge of my outdrive, is this the intake for the speedometer?

yes that small notch opening is for the speedo. It does get clogged up. use a small wire or drill bit by hand to clean it out.

It was clogged...wow what a stench works great now thanks!! 8)
