1997 crown line 202 7.4l

I am looking at a 97 crown line 202 7.4l Volvo Penta I am not familiar with this engines.The engine has 430 hours is there any known problems with these engines boat is clean asking 4200.

It's a Chevy 7.4L, no specific engine problems more than any other manufacturers 7.4.

The drive is the key. It more than probably has a aplha drive and not a bravo. With that said if your a gentelman the alpha will survive....So that should bring in some comment's.

Being a Volvo, I doubt it has an Alpha or Bravo drive on it.

Ayuh,... The BBC has been the motor of choice for 'bout 30 years or more,....

With proper maintenance, they'll easily live into the several 1000 hours range, before a rebuild is necessary...

I see say's the blindman...good for him i finally have a hotrod boat and it has a weany drive.. i guess i am envious..To the op good luck 4k for a solid boat and that power train ...good find...check the stringer's twice over thought..

I just did a quick search for a 97 202 Crownline and found several for a LOT more money. So either this is a GREAT deal or there's something wrong with it.

CAVEAT EMPTOR.

$4200 seems pretty darn cheap! From the sounds of it i would think $14200. Take a good look over the boat... and if all is good, pull the trigger. Then post up some pics of your steal!
