At idle and at slow no wake speeds I can't notice anything different in the motors sound or idle. However, when I increase the boats speed I begin to feel a vibration in the entire boat from the motor. At full throttle I can only go 17 mph instead of the usual 21 mph. Then I decreased the speed from 17 mph to turn the boat around an when I increased to full throttle again to head back to the dock the motor would only go a maximum speed of 14 mph. The motor sounds as if the boat is loaded to its maximum capacity giving a very deep growl and not able to increase to it's maximum rpms. Due to the vibration, I changed the prop. Due to the decrease in speed I changed the lower unit thinking the clutch was slipping. I then thought it was possibly the power pack I changed it also. All of these things I did had no effect on the problem.
