Ayuh,... Welcome Aboard,... Look for corrosion, inside the aluminum tube that holds the aft end of the cable,...

Bought a used 2007 with a 5.0GL and my steering was stiff too, fluids and belt all good. Lubed up the power assist ram by the engine and nice and smooth now. See if its corroded, if not, try some lube and see how that feels.

Cable is now lubed, power steering fluid is full, cable is free of any binding and all shafts are clean and lightly lubricated. Still tough to steer at low speed but ok at high speed. Thinking i may have some air in the power steering lines. Anyone know what the best way to bleed the air out?

When you say tough to steer....do you mean its tight like binding or that it wants to wander? If your Four Winns is like mine with a deep V hull design you will find it likes to wander at low speeds.....nature of the beast....you may be over correcting

Its tight "like binding" at low RPM.

Nope, ya won't,...

disconnect the aft end of the cable, 'n pull it Outa the aluminum tube it mounts in, it's probably Corroded in there....

'n there's No lubin' steerin' Cables, they're instead, Replaced...
