I just rebuilt this engine, new cam mid range,roller rockers, push rods, etc. The idle rpm varied by 50 up and down before and after the rebuild. I have hooked up a mercruiser scan tool and no faults have come up. However I adjusted the IAC set screw to factory specs as the previous owner had adjusted this setting, but my idle is still travelling up and down by 50 rpm. The engine performs well other than the idle variance.
I would appreciate any input as to a cause and solution to this problem.
