1997 Princecraft transom

Hi there
I got some brown puffy mold (size of a quarter) coming out of one of the seams on my transom..... So I am guessing the transom is going to need replacement soon.... Any pics or tricks to replacing this transom as it looks pretty complicated....
It is a 1997 16.6 Princraft Sport split windshield (walk through)... Boat is great shape besides the transom. I tightened up my motor bolts and by doing so, one side squeezed more than the other so I am guessing my wood is compromised?
Here is a picture of the boat... Any tips or pics to changing the transom would be appreciated or is this too much for a weekend mechanic to take on?

Hi Fratri, I dont have any advice yet but I am also taking on a similar project and will keep you posted, I have done a few fiberglass restores and this is my first aluminum one.
