1997 Sea Nymp 19.5 GLS section of windshield replacement. Where to buy?

Restoring boat and section of windshield broke and missing. Walk through bow rider. Piece that's missing is right in front of driver. I know omc went bankruptcy years back but if I can come up with a part number Taylor marine products may have made original. Any help would be appreciated.

welcome aboard :welcome:... Im going to bet you have a difficult time finding as replacement. I googled it and the glass you are replacing looks flat?

Oh no it's definitely curved.

No such luck eh. I replaced a windshield in my Welcraft and it was flat. I had it made at the local glass shop with safety glass. You will have to wait for smarter minds than mine. Wondering if you will have to replace the whole windshield, brackets included, hope not...

any local plastic manufacturing company can do that little curve on the relatively flat window. they will hot-form it.

Lowes stocks plastic sheets of different composition, like Acrylics, Lycra which respond to different hazards differently. Harbor Freight sells a heat gun for about 20 bucks that puts out enough heat for you to bend the plastic yourself. You can probably read up on how-tos on Utube but it's worth a try I'd think if replacing it is important to you.

Need part of windshield frame for 1997 sea nymph 195 GLS

Looking for either original or aftermarket top piece of windshield frame. Or any ideas for temporary, permanent fix? need to keep frame secured. Want to get on the water soon. windshield is a walk through and is on starboard side and has a curve on right side.
