I have a 1997 Sugar Sand with a Merc 175 Sport Jet RX2 motor. I have checked the compression on this V6 and the top Cyl on both banks regester between 95 and 110 lbs, both of the lower cyl, (the bottom on both banks) regester 120 on the Stb, and 125 on the port. I am getting water in the port cyl when I have a extrernal test water source connected. The engine is very hard to start and will not idle, it only has about 10 hours since it had two pistons and the crank replaced by the previous owner. Any one have any ideas??
