So i bought this boat off of craigslist for $1300, it was in pretty good shape. The guy i bought it from lived in Foxworth MS and he said he bought it down on the MS coast where it had been siting back up in one of the brackish water rivers behind someones house. You can tell that it had been because the bottom of the boat is stained black and has barnacles stuck to the bottom from sitting there for so long. It is going to take alot of work to get this thing working. I started cleaning and found out that Bar Keepers Friend takes that hard water stain right off of the bottom, and basically cleans every little stain, dirt spot, and rust out of the fiberglass. The boat came with a 1980 70 HP Evinrude that runs great. It was hooked up to a external gas tank but i replaced the internal one that had dry rotted and have the motor hooked up to it. It came without any seats, i was wondering where i could get those. There are holes drilled in front of the center console and behind it. I have to put a new bilge pump in, could someone recommend a size for me. The wiring needs to be completely redone, i posted about it in the wiring forums. Any help or information that anyone could give me would be great help. I will post pictures when i am able to take them.

Welcome to iBoats!

Yeah, Pics really help us to help you!!!
Here's a basic Boat wiring schematic...

What kind of seats are you wanting? How big is your bilge? For a 16 ft boat I'd think this would be adequate...
