Symptoms:
Motor became harder and harder to start, and eventually would only start with throttle advanced, and would not idle- just dies. Then eventually, just cranks, no start.

I checked spark and found that all 3 port side cylinders all have strong spark, but all 3 starboard side cylinders have no spark. I was leaning toward replacing the power packs, but then have been reading about stator failure. The boat is in the water, and I can't get it out and in the driveway for a bit so I'm trying to research all I can until then. (too difficult to work on it in the water)

My plan is to test the stator and the power packs once I can get to the motor, and possibly replace both power packs, the stator, or all three. Just wondering if anyone has had a similar problem here? Thanks in advance.

Most likely stator...easy test, just swap stator wires to switchbox that is firing, if problem follows its stator. If not replace both switchboxes
