I have a 1998 Caravelle with the Volvo Penta 4.3GL PBYC. The model number is 4110165886. This engine has been great until this year, I have already replaced the fuel pump and now I see the fuel dumping into carb. Problem started when I first stated messing with it as the carb was getting no fuel and the engine would kick every time I sprayed carb cleaner in it, just would not stay running. Noticed that no fuel was going into carb so to expatiate things I just figured to replace fuel pump. Now it pumps fuel into carb at first switch of ignition key and when I'm cranking it. She floods herself out every time as the compression gets harder to crank due to fuel in the pistons. What am I missing to get this started, before I changed fuel pump she wanted to start, now she sounds like its just cranking and dumping fuel. Please Help?
