I am trying to figure out what this is used for? I have never adjusted or known what is needing to be set to? Any help would be great.

Thanks,

If your boat pulls to the right you turn that MORE to the right to get the boat to go straight.

Oh shot i dont guess i pay that much attention to how the boat pulls. If needed do i just loosen a screw and move it to where it can be better for my handling?

If your boat tends to pull to the right you loosen the screw and turn that fin more to the right.

I am going to leave it be for the time being as the bolts were tight so the previous owner might have had the problem with the motor pulling right and so he adjusted it. So just so i am sure if the boat pulls to the right move the fin to the right facing the back of the motor or if pulls left move fin left facing back of the motor? Thanks for the help!
