1998 Force 120hp Engine Missing at High RPM

1998 Force 120hp alternately dumps and picks up at high rpms. Boat runs 50 mph right off the trailer, but barely stays on plane when it starts acting up. Starts and idles well. New fuel pump diaphram kit, new fuel filter, new primer bulb, new spark plugs. Good compression, spark and fuel delivery. Any ideas what's wrong would be appreciated. Thanks.

Make sure your fuel tank vent is open and clear. A plugged vent will cause the motor to run lean. Debris in the carburetor bowl or needle valve sticking restricting fuel flow. Also float level set too low. Double check timing too.
