1998 Force 50 Starter

The starter has gone out on my 1988 Force 50 2 stroke. On line the 5283 ACRO is a recommended replacement for $151. But while looking at the ARCO I found the Mercury Replacement 50-575955, 50-803903T Starter by motor city reman.

At only $69 it seems like the better deal but I'm wondering if it will fit.

Is it 88 or 98??

ACRO or "ARCO" equipment is way more expensive because they're a better product and made in the US

The 69$ one will probably fit but if made in China, it might not last long??
