I just got 1998 Kawasaki 750 sxi. The engine looks good, but ebox was all taken apart and there were some parts of the other ebox sitting in the engine bay. I think that the connected ebox belongs to a different model kawasaki 750, since there is a trim wire and trim fuse and this model does not have trim at all. But when i connected a new battery and tried to crank the engine, there was absolutely bo response, not even the solenoid clicking. However, when i shortened the battery with the starter cable the starter began cranking and the engine was spinning freely. It had some decent compression, which i will measure tomorrow. But my question is, what should i check in the ebox that could cause this behavior? Thx
