1998 MasterCraft Maristar 225 VRS?

Any thoughts about this boat? Looking for a good cruising boat for the family but that will also be used for wakeboarding and skiing, and saw a good price on one of these.

Sweet boat! So long as you're not in a hurry, just as comfy as a bowrider. The main drawback to V-drives is gas consumption, if you expect to rack up a lot of hours cruising. Here is a link to another thread that may help -

great for small inland lakes and rivers. will be a rough ride in any sort of large chop or bigger.
