I am having difficulty getting on plane. Engine seems to loss power as it is starving for fuel. it runs well on land when you put the ear muffs on it but it seems when you put load on it falters. At times I have to prime the gas bulb inorder that it does'nt stall. <br />any suggestions?

Typically if you choke or squeeze the fuel bulb and you get better performance you are looklng at a fuel related problem. The best place to start is to rebuild carbs, replace fuel pump diaphram, replace fuel bulb and all the fuel hose. It sounds like a pain but the gas we have now has got so much alcohal that it dries up the rubber. Another place to look is to make sure your gas can is venting. Try loosening the cap at WOT and see if that helps improve your situation. Also look for air leaks and make sure to use good quality fuel clamps on all connections
