I have a 1998 Mercury Optimax 150hp that is sounding a continuous warning horn. I have the service manual and looked up what it might be and from what I can determine it looks like the problem is no oil flow to oil pump. I am new to outboard motors,and if anyone can give me insight of where to start I would greatly appreciate it. How can I determine if pump is working or if there is a block some where? Help!!
