I have a problem with my heat alarm coming on after running and then switching to idle.It has a steady stream of water all the time at pee hole.I removed the cover from engine and noticed a yellow wire coming from what i think is the temp.sensor.the insulation is off the wire.could this be from a bad sensor or could it be grounding out and causing the alarm to go off?i dont think its really hot but dont wanna chance it(u never know)thanks in advance

The stream of water is misleading. It just means the engine is pumping water. The T-Stats control the flow of the water through the engine.

You might want to take a look at those or the poppet valve or the waterpump checked.

TMD

If the wire was coming from your temp sender(TO THE HORN) and grounding out it would cause the horn to sound. You should turn the key on and rub that wire on the motor where the insulation is raw and see if the horn sounds if it does this is more than likely you problem.
CU

--------------------
RUNNING THE MOTOR WHILE LISTENING TO THE HORN WILL MAKE YOU MORN!!
