took my boat out for the first time in a month, and the heating alarm went off. water pump is new and the engine was peeing well. pulled the covers off the t-stat, there was some crude build up, but it looked as though the housing where the thermostat sits is broke. anyone have any experience with this? can I replace this piece, it looks like its just held on with 7 bolts but 4 are under the fly wheel, do I have to remove the flywheel to remove?
