1998Johnson 150 Ficht gas filter

Hi every one, just received my parts catalog today and was trying to look up the part number for my fuel filter. Does not show a picture or part number for my filter. I have the canister type which has the water scensor wire. My engine is a 1998 Johnson 150hp FICHT Fast Strike engine, model #J150U ECR, Serial #0 04469/08.Any help with the part number would be greatly appreciated.<br /> Thank You

Dhadley, I'm pretty sure that was the model number<br />that was on the engine, I will have to recheck in a couple of day. I could have coppied it down wrong. Does it sound like its the wrong model number?

I think the letters between the 150 and EC should be different. Something like 150FSLEC. But at any rate the EC is correct which deignates 98. Thats the important ones.

Dhadley, I just checked my paper work and it says model # <br />J150ILEC, The sticker on the engine was real hard to read and I'm sure now that I copyied some of the letters and numbers wrong. I even copyied the serial # wrong, it is G04469708. Thanks for your help.

Thats it. Very minor differences in a couple of areas. I agree on those stickers being hard to read sometimes. <br /><br />Good luck!
