First you must remove the bottom cover of the pan, then there are 8 bolts and two nuts holding the powerhead itself on. I would suggest you obtain a service manual before attempting this project.
there are 10 bolts. 6long on the sides and 2 short at the front with 2 nuts. there are 2 hidden under the exhaust at the back.<br />the cowls are easy to remove. 2 10mm bolts back lower cowl. 2 10mm bolts facing forward close to where the top mounts poke through. 2 more revealed when those 2 are removed.
