After an hour of running, I shut the engine off for a couple of hours. Restarted it ,it ran for 30 seconds and died. Restarted several more times and
died again each time.Looked for loose wiring and found none. Finally it stayed running but it ran rough then very rough. 30 seconds later it smoothed
out and stayed running. Do I have an electrical problem or do I need to call an excorcist?

An Exorcist would be best. This seems to be an issue on those models. I have never heard of a real fix.

I normally advance the throttle before restarting the motor. Let her run at 1200 - 1500RPM, until she runs clean. That will take a couple of minutes. After she runs clean, she should behave better.
