1999 115HP Johnson oil alarm will not stop after bypassing vro

I want to premix my fuel, I disconnected harness coming from vro pump and harness going to oil tank, I am still getting fast beeping from my alarm, tested over heat alarm and it is working fine. any ideas which wire I need to disconnect?? also I have a pre 95 harness (big red plug) on boat, purchased the adapter harness to connect to this motor if that makes any difference. You disconnected the round 3 wire plug back towards the cylinder head right? on the VRO pump side

ok I found the problem..boat has twin motors, I wired the alarms together in case one went bad, for some reason it gives low oil alarm when I turn left key switch on and not the right one, does not do it the other way around,, weird but I can live with it. just remember to turn the key in the on position when I am not running both motors.
