Fired up the motor today. Ran it for a good ten minutes and noticed new to me erratic peeing. Maybe I never noticed this before? At idle, 600 rpm, it's between a dribble and a weak stream. Lake water temp was in the low 40's. At 1,000 rpm the stream was as strong as always. The impeller is about 10 months old. If there was blockage wouldn't it be continuous? I'm putting the garden hose on it after I post just in case there is something blocking the flow. Will check back tonight and hopefully someone will have a answer or opinion. Thanks in advance.
Found a small hole in the water line to the pee hole. Not a tear or a crack but a piece of hose the size of a pencil missing. I can only guess a mouse or a shrew managed to get under the motor cover perhaps last time at the shop? I can't see how anything bigger then a ant could get under the closed motor. First under $5:00 repair I ever encountered. Sorry to have bothered anyone but perhaps it will help someone down the line.
