1999 225 Merc - Weird Problem

It starting to happen on my last trip and did it again last night. I will be driving along at around 3800 rpms when all of a sudden the engine seems to die for no more than 2 seconds, all the gauges go down, the engine warning buzzer goes off just once, but then it runs fine. The motor never dies out, I don't think its a fuel problem because its doesn't sound like its bogging down, just seems like if you were to turn the key off and on while driving. The boat does jerk when this happens since it loses power for those couple of seconds. Any ideas where I can start to look for the problem?

Just for fun.. Check the black/yellow connections from your switchboxes to your merc switch. These are what actually stops the ignition when you turn the key to off.
