1999 225 Suzuki

I am considering buying a beautiful 1985 Grady that has a 1999 225 Suzuki 200 hrs. Just wanted some feedback. Not real familiar w/ the Suzuki and would like some feedback about the them

Suzukis are good engines if you can find dealer/repair support or if you can work on them yourself.

jimd nailed it. Good engines, dealer support is spotty.

I have the same engine on my Sea Pro and it is great.<br /><br />Only problem I have had was to replace the impeller, thermostats and clean out the pop it valve.<br /><br />But you do want someone that knows a little about them though, I used a "shadtree" mechanic and finally took it to a Suzuki dealer to tell me I needed to replace the thermostats and clean out the pop it valve. Other "mechanic" had no freaking clue about any of this.
