I'm trying to disassembly my carb's accelerator plunger since the rubber bellows has disintegrated. The plunger has a ball at the top that sits in a plastic clip that rotates with the throttle linkage actuation. It looks like a pretty tight fit. I'm afraid if I pull too hard the plastic clip will break. Any advice on how to separate the plunger ball from the clip?
