Hello gang Lee here

I have a Cobalt 293 with twin 350 mags. 285 hours
port motor serial- L358806

started our hard to start and now just acts like it’s trying to start
I have swopped many parts between engines and nothing has help. The Starboard motor runs fine

ECM
relays
IAC
Completely swopped the throttle top
cap and rotor

I have spark
12.5v on both leads of the coil(same on both motors)
good compression
plugs look good
fuel pressure around 23 while cranking(29 on SB motor)
I’m thinking fuel pump, fuel pressure regulator, or the little damn filter between them.

Any thoughts on what I may be missing?

Do you have good spark?
Check at coil and at plugs

If not look at distributor pickup. See if its a 2 wire or 3

It’s a 3 wire on 1 motor and 2 on the other. The difference being a ground wire. I did swop that about 20 minutes ago! Same same

I was thinking of swopping the coil

I have a suspension it’s the fuel pump however I hit the intake with a hit of starting fluid and nothing.

Spark is fine
Compression is good
Fuel pressure is good

The answer is the injectors are not being turned ON

Dribble a teaspoon or so of gas down the throttle body then try to start

Yeah I find it very annoying when you help someone on a forum fix an issue then they never update it. Others may have the same issue and hopefully this feed could help.
