Hi! The flywheel on my Evinrude won't budge. It appears that 2 of the "teeth" on the outside of the flywheel are jammed up against 2 of the teeth of the starter motor. I think this occurred when I tried to start the engine too quickly with the starter rope. The rope uncoiled and recoiled correctly 4 or 5 times, then it wouldn't come out more than 2 inches after that. And now the electric start button won't get any reaction. Is there a way to unjam the teeth and realign them and start over? Another observation: The starter motor teeth are just slightly overlapping with the flywheel teeth (from underneath).

Thanks much for any help you can give me. If not, my next question on this forum will be how to remove the 75 pound motor, and transport it to the shop...
