New member here so please be patient. I have a 1999 90 HP 60 deg. loop charged Johnson that has started running rough - spits and sputters at slow/no wake speeds at between 1100 & 1500 RPMs. Otherwise it starts and idles fine, gets on plane fine and runs good up to WOT. It does this both in gear and in neutral but is worse in neutral. I pulled one of the carbs off and it was real clean inside so I didn't mess with the others. Was going to check the timing but the proceedure in the book is pretty confusing (not at all like a car) and I haven't attempted it yet. I would appreciate any ideas or thoughts on what the problem might be. Thanks
