hi, today I went out to get my boat ready for spring. I started to tilt the engine up and it went about a foot and just stopped. got nothing but relays clicking. I jumped the tilt motor with jumper cables and it works fine the engine tilts up and down.so I know the tilt motor is good. I replaced all the relays with new ones and I still just get clicking of relays. this happens with the throttle switch and switch on the engine too. im running out of ideas of what it could be. its like a fuse blew or something ,but I can not find a fuse from the switches to the relay box. anyone have any ideas on what it could be?

Check the terminal block where the relays plug in for any corrosion. It's been known to happen.

well boobie, you were right. after looking close at the terminal block everything looked good, but I was pushing the trim & tilt switch on the engine up and down when I pulled on the two wire connection for the trim motor and the engine jumped up... I moved the connection around and it worked .. pulled it out and one pin looked dirty.. cleaned it up and boom all is good. thanks for your help.
