1999 Evinrude E115FPLEEN 115 Hp Fuel Line ?

What size fuel line should this engine have attached to it? It currently has a 5/16" which seems kind of tight on the fuel inlet on the motor... Wouls this be too restrictive? Also, this engine was run dry of fuel. Do I need to flush the lines because the oil was still pumping without any fuel?

5/16's if fine for that motor. The V6's need 3/8's
