no tricks, same as doing an F100,F115,F150 or an F225.
remove the powerhead attaching bolts,disconnect the wiring,shift/throttle and fuel systems and lift the powerhead straightup. sometimes its easier to remove the lower first and always easier to have the lower off when reinstalling.
the mean trick is cleaning the oil sump as it requires mid-section dissasembly to clean it.
now I got a question: any tricks for doing an F350?

looks like a stator failed causing the damper ring on the flywheel to become unbonded and the viberation beat the upper main bearing out.
with the flywheel off you can move the crank about 1/8th inch in any direction with your hand,
this is gonna be interesting.
to much stuff on an F350.
