fuel normaly goes directly into the injectors under pressure via the vapor separator high presssure pump

check your top vent of the VST ... no fuel should exit the VST to vent hose. if it does the float is defective .
do yo u have the service manual book .

see similar VST service video

vst is the square box on the side oft the ph... it cools the fuel and removes any vapor to ensure pure fuel enters the high speed pump and injectors.

BE VERY CAREFUL....VST IS PLACTIC AND BARBS ARE VERY EASY TO CRACK $$$$$

You sure it is a FICHT? Any provision for sending unmixed Gas on these motors, thru the Crankcase would be a Catastrophe waiting to happen

The issue I had was it ran fine all day then got back to the dock trolled around for a minute then it wouldn't fire back up loaded it on tralier then got home took cover off and just checking everything over I primed the bulb and fuel just comes out from the throttle bodies. Not a down pour but pours out. But I will check the vapor separator and go from there have been told by several that could be an issue so thank yall if any more info pls let me know

another possibility ....:-(

it may be a injector stuck open & pushing fuel back into one cyl.
do you have EV diagnostics to look for fault codes ?

the EMM codes would look fo shorts or open on the injedtor pulse wire but a mechanically stuck injector may very well produce no codes...just flooding.
ever had your injectors serviced ??

hopefully just the VST float one other option.... is a hole in the smaller lift pump diaphragm letting fuel from the priming bulb... simply flow back into the engine. The fuel pump should just receive pulses from the cranckcase to work it's diaphragm but if it is leaky (ruptured) fuel will directly reenter the crankcase and drip out !!!

Well I tore the lift pump off and looked at the diaphragm. Once I checked out the vapor separator and it was all good I checked the lift pump well there's a huge rip in the diaphragm fingers crossed the repair kit I ordered fixes it thanks for the insight !!

Glad it was that lift pump. thanks for the feedback . you can always cut yourself a tempoary diaphragm piece with a nitrile from a a glove .
