1999 Johnson 150 Hp Spark Plugs

I am wondering, other than price, what's the difference between Champion plug types QL78YC and L78YC. My motor call for the QL, but I'd like to know what the difference is.

Q plugs were reportedly developed by Champion for OMC motors to help to quiet electrical interference. They are especially important with electronic ignition systems, communications, etc.
