1999 Nisan NS8B Won't Idle

I have a 1999 Nissan NS8B that for whatever reason won't idle. Any ideas? Could it be the air/ fuel mixture? A couple twists of a screw? I mean don't get me wrong it runs and I'm happy it does (paid 120 for it) but I scare the crap out of everyone at the launch cause I have to come in so hot lol.

I did that already. We took it out last night and were able to get it to run but only by twisting the air screw out and could only run it with the choke out. It felt like it was starving for air... Any ideas off that info?

If it only runs with choke, it is starving for fuel. Do a thorough carb disassembly and 4-hour soak in carb dip, then reassemble, readjust, and see what happens.
