1999 Volvo Penta 5.7 wont restart

I've tried every thing. I can start the boat and run for hours without shutting off. Run Goods. As soon as I shut it down it will not restart. Sometimes it will if I put the throttle in neutral and floor it. It has fuel injection. Help

Part of the 'joy' of fuel injected engines is that you need a computer and the diagnostic software in order to troubleshoot them.

Short of that, it is all guesswork. Maybe post the model # of your engines for more specific comments.

Is this happening if you stop it then start attempting immediately after ? Or you mean after sitting for a good while at the beach or somewhere?
