Bought the boat in February. Had engine completely gone through by marine mechanic. Carb kits, new fuel lines, new plugs, new impeller, compression checked wonderful. First three times using boat the motor started quick and ran perfect. Went out today, started up great. Idled it about 150 yards from marina and killed engine to fish for a bit. When I tried to restart....nothing. Motor turns over but doesnt even attempt to fire. Used trolling motor back to marina. Checked and cleaned plugs, no loose wires, appears to be getting fuel, bulb pumps up tight, but zilch. Its as if it is getting no fire whstsoever. What could cause it to instantly lose fire? Motor has ran fantastic up to this point.

Did a kill switch or man overboard switch get knocked loose?

I checked the kill switch itself and its still in the run position. Didnt notice any loose wires when i removed the cowl.

Yes. Unfortunately, the boat is in a slip at the marina which makes it difficult to troubleshoot. Hoping to get it back on the trailer today.
