I had the unit tuned, water pump etc first of season. Engine starts fine cold, but noticing that after sitting for a few minutes and recranking, I am having to either choke or reprime bulb. Any suggestions before going back to repair shop?

The bulb itself may be allowing the fuel to leak down.

It would seem to me that you might have a air leak above the bulb allowing the fuel to run back. Check your fuel lines for pin hole and cracks and that all connections are solid.

How does the engine run over all? Any loss of power / top rpms compared to what you saw before you had this problem?
