1st Boat, what is it?

Heres a couple pics of my boat. She's a 1985(I was told) Chris-Craft Scorpion or Seahawk 21.5 footer. NADA doesn't show a Seahawk model for 1985. My uncle sold me the boat and told me it was an 85 but the "Sea Hawk" stickers make me skeptical. I've tried searching around the net but there aren't many resources for Chris Craft unless its a classic.

Floor and transom felt solid. The port gunwale has a bad spot where it got whacked on the corner of a dock. The engine is a Yamaha 150 Excel (year unknown). The first owner kept her at his lakehouse. My uncle(2nd owner) used her to go fishing in the Gulf 5 or 6 times a year. Boat has been sitting for the past 2 years except for a couple short trips to the lake.

No huge plans. She needs a lot of cleaning. The A/F paint has to go. I wan't to add an arch, baitwell, more seating and storage. I'd love to paint her and install a new engine but thats a long ways down the road.

Thats the same hull design as my 1981 Scorpion K. Yours is more of a walk around cuddy than mine.The Scorpion K model is not listed on NADA either.
I would guess 1985 is close. Look at the hull id number on the back right corner of the transom,it will include the year model numbers like 84,85 or what ever.
Nice boat,well worth fixing up.They ride great.That Yammie should do well.
I have a 175 Johnson on mine.Mine says its rated up to 300 hp.

if you decide it's too much work i have a boat graveyard, be glad to come get it. post the serial and model number of the motor in the Yammy forum. they are good motors, and to replace it is mega bucks. it will do nicely on that hull.

I have the same Chris Craft Sea Hawk 1985 with the Scorpion Package , What that means is Chris Craft offered the scorpion package in which included a 180 or 190 I/O Or larger outboard , along with tinted Plexiglases door and hatch cover , Fiber glass rod holders and a few other upgrades.The first sea hawk with same hull design was built in 1984 only a hand full with the Scorpion package where made . After the company was sold the package was not offered any more just the Sea Hawk only. This is one great boat , Best of luck..

but check the hull vin as suggested.
